Dial d for dragon

Letterhead. Fooling around. Not to mention pretty obvious. But I'd like to own a company called this. The dragon bit, yeah, I don't know either.

I have new Photoshop, world. Here's some shockingly lazy testrunning.

ontheroad

Being able to find (or make) a better car brush would've helped, I suppose, but if you screw up your eyes it looks a little like a 1949 Hudson, the car Dean Moriarty drives and then loses. It would also be easy to argue that it's the road that's more important and not the car (witness the, uh, title) so that's that.

I wish they made more books with old-fashioned covers nowadays.

Seconds Poster

Yaay. A gigposter that is not a mock gigposter. For my friend Mirna, who used to sing in a two-piece acoustic band called Seconds. I also designed the band's logo but I can't find it now :(

blue-green

Blue-Green Portrait

My first oil painting. 2007.

The Woods Are Lovely, Dark and Deep

Second attempt, I think. It hangs in my parents' bedroom now. Copied from a landscape book somewhere, I can't recall what the original painting is called.

I don't really use brushes for oil painting anymore, palette knives are better suited to my levels of patience and attention. And besides, the blurrier the better, I can't do details with oil very well.
